The Pilates - Yoga Connection

Inspired by attending the Yoga Journal yoga conference, I've been giving some thought to the differences and similarities between yoga and pilates. While Pilates may be a bit more about core strength, and yoga emphasizes stretching, they are very complimentary forms of exercise. The expansiveness of yoga, combined with stability that the core strength Pilates offers, seems to be an excellent combination.
