Q: Why So Few Reps in Pilates Exercise?

One of the unique things about Pilates is that we do very few repetitions of any one exercise. We're not looking to build up to several small sets, either. People who are new to Pilates sometimes feel like an instructor is just taking them through as many exercises as they can think of. So what's that about?
