Exercise of the Week - Inner Thigh Lifts

Wednesday February 11, 2009
pilates thighsInner Thigh Lifts is one of the most targeted inner thigh exercises we have in the Pilates mat work. The key to getting the most out of this exercise is to set up properly and use your core to maintain your alignment throughout the exercise. If you emphasize length, alignment, and working from your abdominals you will be pleased with what a good tone up this is for the inner thighs and the abs. As with the other exercises in the leg kick series, inner thigh lifts is teaching us to work from the core and allow the leg to move freely.

Here is an easy thigh exercise that works using as exercise bouncy ball. Sit on the ball and bounce up and down as many times as you can you will feel it working on your thighs. Its fun and easy to do and not hard on your knees. You don’t need to use your so much of your body weight. This exercise is good for anyone and those who do not have much strenght.
