Pilates works all of the abdominal muscles for serious reasons: Strong abs support the spine, help prevent back pain, assist in breathing, support the internal organs, and are essential for healthy, efficient, graceful movement. The very cool thing that goes along with working your abdominal muscles in ways that produce those desired effects is that you also get nice looking flat abs as a boost.
Whatever your motivation, this week I have a really great abdominal series for you.
