Pilates Chair ExerciseReady for something big? This lower body challenge workout will help you build  lower body strength and tone as well as cultivate core strength and better balance. You can do this workout with any Pilates chair you have, including the Malibu Pilates chair.
Pilates Chair Lower Body Workout Challenge

If you don't have a Pilates chair, as many don't, you might enjoy the inner thigh focus series on the mat. It too will work your core and lower body quite well.

Hi Mark,
The Pilates chair could become part of an overall recovery program for someone with sciatica but it’s not where one would start — especially not on ones own. I suggest you read this article: How Pilates Can Help Sciatica which is an interview I did with Dr. Brent Anderson of Polestar Pilates. I think it will give you a lot of insight into how to approach working with sciatica. There are also exercise suggestions there.
