Thanksgiving is one of those holidays that swirls around fat. It's everywhere. We add it to pie, potatoes, breads, and gravies. It's in our cooking oil and salad oil. It's in the turkey, the nuts and the cheese. What's a fitness minded person to do?
Here's what you need: You need to know what fats are. Where they are. Which ones are healthy fats and which are bad. And how many it's O.K. to eat. That way you can make smart choices about what you put in your mouth and extra fat won't end up on your body. You just have to get your head around a few key ideas. That should be easy since our brains are about 60% fat.
