Exercise of the Week: Pilates Push-Up

Pilates Push UpPilates push-up is the very last exercise in the classical Pilates mat exercise sequence. It seems only appropriate that we would make it our last exercise of the week for 2012.

Here's what we're going to do: We are going to take all the amazing benefits of plank (which we started working a few weeks ago) and add a balance, stretch, and coordination component as well as an upper body integrity and arm strength challenge.

What the heck, it's the end of the year, go for it. Not only that, but Pilates push ups are very fun to test friends and family members with. It's no ordinary push-up!
