The Ballet Wrap Top:
I love this wrap top. Made of a wool blend, it's soft and thin; but warm, and well made with an interesting cut. I feel elegant in it. That's saying something for workout clothes.
On chilly days I like to layer with pieces that I can easily wear out in the regular world as well as the studio. I don't keep this top on long when I'm working out - hopefully I get past the hundreds and I'm warm - but I do enjoy having cozy entrance and exit.
Bottom line: This is one of those versatile garments that become a workout wardrobe mainstay.

Stylish Workout Clothing
Most workout clothing has a "sporty" vibe to it, but Abi and Joseph is elegant, maybe even a little lounge or lingerie-like. That's an unusual description for workout clothing. And a relief for those of us who like stylish variety in our workout wardrobe. If that sounds like you, take a look around the Abi and Joseph site. I've only tried the wrap top(above) so I don't have direct experience with tops and pants in the rest of the Abi and Joseph line. But my sense is that these pieces are cut on the longer trimmer side. Those who are a little curvier might think about ordering up a size or calling with measurements just to be sure. The name Abi and Joseph has a fun history. Abi is Abi White, the designer. And I always thought Joseph was probably her partner or another designer, but no. The Joseph is for Joseph Pilates, and the original intention for the line was specifically Pilates workout clothes! Abi and Joseph workout clothing is out of Australia. Depending on the strength or weakness of the dollar, that can be a good deal for US buyers (it is at the moment).
