I have several exercise balls, several weights of medicine balls, hand weights, bands, and a Gaiam toning ring
How I Use It
My favorite is the exercise ball; I use it at least several times a week. It is great for doing all sorts of core work, and even if I don't use it in the workout I love it for stretching out my back and my abs when I'm done. I have several DVD programs using the ball; I like to get in a variety of workouts. I also like to use the medicine ball with the exercise ball and get more resistance.
Advice
- One of the most helpful pieces of advice I got about the ball is that the more it's inflated, the harder it is to balance on it so start out with it a little squishy and fill it more as you get more familiar with using the ball.
