There are Pilates reformer
fanatics all over the world. Are you one, or close to one? If so, tell us why you love to workout with this super popular Pilates machine. Share Your Reason
- I started private reformer instruction after having bypass surgery in my right leg. It strengthened & lengthened the muscles in my legs as well as rebuilding the ones in my right leg.
I had to have a second, more extensive surgery a year & a half later. I was able to walk out of the hospital this time in spite of having 6 3-4" inscisions up & down the inside of each leg. I was told that it was probably due to the year of Pilates reformer & mat classes. Needless to say, I resumed Pilates a month later & now own my own reformer. I owe my recovery to Pilates.
Tall and Balanced
- I love working out with the reformer because I feel like I can connect my whole body through the machine. I gain strength but I feel longer and more flexible too. Workouts are so absorbing I never get bored. When I'm finished I feel lighter and taller, and a lot more balanced in my body and my attitude.
