Pilates Hot Shopping Tip
Monday December 1, 2008
I've got so many Pilates gift ideas this year that I've decided that every Monday, from now until Christmas, I'm going to offer a quick tip on something I think is really great, fun or worthy of special mention in some way. So check back each week. You can also sign up for my Pilates newsletter, where I always feature special content. This week I'm loving the Mobility Pant from be present. When I tried this pant on I had one of those "I'm so cute" moments (can you believe I admit that?). The mobility pants are lightweight, made from what be present calls a breathe weave fabric - cotton, nylon and spandex - but they stretch really well. They are capri length and have a big slit at the bottom of each leg, adding to the mobility (and flounce) factor. You can get the mobility pant with various emblems at the leg or on the back. The ones I tried have a lotus embroidered at the base of the spine. You can also get them with dragons or Ganesh, the Hindu elephant God, on the legs.
OK, they aren't winter wear, but the mobilty pants are are fun, colorful, and youthful. They inspire me to dance around and exercise. That's why I think they make great fitness gifts. At $63.00 - $81.00 they are near the top end of what I'll be featuring in my shopping tips, but the mobility pant also has pockets and a structured styling that would work on the street (in warm weather) as well as the studio, so I give them extra credit. Mens and Womens sizes xs through xl (order up to be safe).
