Guide Review - Winsor Pilates Super Sculpting DVD Review
What I like best about the Winsor Pilates DVDs is that they are upbeat and welcoming. Though she is known as one of the big trainers of the Hollywood stars, Mari is energetic and encouraging. She seems friendly and accessible on the videos, as do her models. I actually found this to be true when I met Mari and took a class from her, as well.
I often find that when I try a Winsor Pilates DVD I think to myself, "yes, I could join this group, I could do this video on a regular basis." And isn't that a big part of what makes a good video?
Do keep in mind that some of these workouts are more Pilates-inspired than they are traditional Pilates. For this reason, I don't necessarily recommend that beginners look to this for actual Pilates instruction. (Mari Winsor knows her Pilates, it's just that details aren't the focus here.) Nevertheless, you can bring your Pilates know-how to this set of routines and have an enjoyable and challenging workout.
