"Neutral Pelvis"

Definition:

When the pelvis is neutral, the pubic bone and the hip bone are in the same plane. This means that the pelvis is not rotated forward in a hyperextension of the spine, or tilted back in a tuck.

Neutral Pelvis and neutral spine are important reference points for Pilates exercises. If you are in neutral spine, then you are in neutral pelvis. However, many forward flexion exercises utilize a neutral pelvis while the rest of the spine is flexed.
