What I Have

I have all the small stuff at home. I have mats, balls (all sizes), bands, circles (Stott, Peak and Winsor Pilates), and foam rollers. I have two Stretch-eze bands. And I have a Pilates chair (Peak Pilates MVe), and an old Balanced Body portable reformer (folded up in the garage at the moment)

How I Use It

When I go to do a focused long workout at home, I almost always do a mat workout - sometimes with a DVD, sometimes not.

But I use the different equipment a lot. I like to just grab something and do a few exercises here and there throughout the day. I also keep a circle and some small, weighted balls near the TV so I can play with them when I watch TV. I sit on an exercise ball about half the time I'm at my computer.

Advice

  • Have your equipment where you can get to it.
